Jessica Fowler is the manager of the interface team at Brookwood Baptist Health. She also has development experience in SQL and Crystal Reports, EHR templates and documents, and has led EPM implementations. She holds Master of Science degrees in Health Informatics and in Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Having served as the co-chair of the HHS ONC Beacon-EHR Vendor Affinity Group, Adele is a current member of the board of directors and co-chair for HHS’ Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI) Payment Models Workgroup. Adele has nearly 30 years of healthcare experience and is a legislative/regulatory subject matter expert. She has been the guest speaker at dozens of national events, sharing her expertise on health IT, federal legislation/policymaking, healthcare reform and many other topics.
A published author, Allison is a member of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) advisory board on curriculum development and served on UAB’s HITECH Committee for health IT curriculum development; and, is the president of the Alabama Chapter of HIMSS.

Tiffani Collins is a goal-oriented, innovative, Product Management professional with 10+ years of experience in health care management and technology. Tiffani currently works as a Sr. Business Analyst for PointClear Solutions providing comprehensive business consultation to business units and IT management on all phases of the software development lifecycle and client delivery model. Throughout her career she has led the deployment of strategy and execution of priorities in product development, implementation, account management, quality assurance and support. Over the years Tiffani has worked with a wide variety of healthcare solutions including, but not limited to, tools that support case consultation, care management, patient payments, treatment fee presentations, electronic dental and electronic medical records. Tiffani holds a Master of Science in Health Informatics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she was awarded The Outstanding Health Informatics Graduate Student (Masters) in the Department of Health Services Administration.

Stewart Garner is a passionate and driven Healthcare Advisor at Kassouf and Co., P.C. As a Healthcare Advisor, Stewart helps clients make informed business decisions and find innovative solutions to increase profitability and efficiency. His areas of emphasis include but are not limited to operational consulting and assessment of business practices, EHR and PM system implementation and optimization, revenue cycle management, bundled payment model initiatives, and HIPAA privacy and security compliance.
Stewart enjoys meeting new people and partnering with like-minded organizations to execute both education and networking events for our chapter members. When not working, you may find him on a local disc golf course or spending time outside with his wife and daughter.

Heather D. Martin is an Alabama native, Learning Health System Fellow, Graduate Research Assistant and PhD student in Health Services Administration – Health Informatics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Heather received her MSBA in finance at Auburn University and has over 10 years of experience working in financial information system design, testing, implementation, support, training and financial reporting. She is also a member of the HIMSS20 Student Case Competition First Place Winning Team and the 2021-2022 HIMSS Emerging Healthcare Leaders Program.
Heather is interested in developing, enhancing, implementing, and evaluating technologies to help practitioners and patients and becoming a health services administration and health IT researcher/teacher/trainer. Heather’s dissertation focus is findings ways health IT can help people in Alabama who suffer from substance abuse disorder while also promoting appropriate pain management. She is also the project lead of ALAHOPE, a multi-disciplinary statewide initiative partnered with the Jefferson County Department of Health to train AL health professional students about addictive substances and appropriate pain management.

Mr. Daniels has been a HIMSS member since 2008, and has served on the AL HIMSS board since 2013. He has been in healthcare IT for over 15 years, and is a systems analyst, administrator and implementation lead.
Eddy Stephens, CIO Advisor

As an information technology executive with over 35 years of experience, Mr. Stephens brings valuable insight to health information technology projects. He is responsible for leading the use of all information technology capabilities and resources within a growing network of hospitals, clinics, and healthcare related facilities, to include telecommunications and biomedical electronics. His tenure at Infirmary Health System has been one of progressively responsible management in an integrated healthcare system. His experience includes strategic planning, emerging technologies, systems life cycle management, and extensive knowledge of health care technology vendors and their roles. Mr. Stephens has a proven track record of bridging the communication gap that so often exists between information technology professionals and other professionals within the organization. Mr. Stephens is a Fellow in HIMSS, a member of CHIME and active in many civic organizations.
